Toddlers

At Grena Road Day Nursery and Preschool, our toddlers rooms are spacious, with lots of natural light providing a very confortable environment. The staff ratio is 1:3 changing to 1:4 as the children get older.

We provide many stimulating activities for your child to join in including music, dancing, relaxation, cooking, painting and messy play. Our planned activities are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage using the environments both inside and out as we value the importance of outdoor play. Children are encouraged to develop their physical skills by providing them with a garden stocked with bikes and push along toys.
 
In each room our toddlers are provided with a selection of toys and natural materials to encourage makign choices and deciding what they would like to play with. Participation is also nurtured with exciting group activities including singing and story time.

As with infants your child would be assigned a Key Person who would monitor your child's development closely ensuring activities will enhance their learning and development at their own pace.
